Botulinum Toxin
Also known as ‘Botox’, toxin is one of several treatments available for fa ial rejuvenation, and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Interesting fact - it actually works by paralysing nerve endings, so when those nerve endings are in muscle, the muscle doesn’t move as much, and when those nerve endings are around sweat glands, you sweat less.
This means it is also one of the options for treating areas of excessive sweating, such as the armpits or palms of hands.
Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
At East of Eden, we’re proud to offer the Belotero range of dermal fillers. This is an excellent product with a range of rheologies (the consistency) to suit numerous areas and purposes.
Profhilo
Profhilo is a biostimulator. What does this mean? When it is placed in the skin, it stimulates your body to produce more of its own collagen, which in turn improves the quality of skin and makes you glow.
It requires two treatments four weeks apart to initiate the process, after which one treatment every four to six months should maintain your results.
